Atlantis Audio —
Identity & Sleeve Design
––––––––––––
( brief – )
Redraw the Atlantis Audio logo
“three waves
and a silhouette of a city skyline at the bottom, which needs copying with some of your magic dust.”
— David J Boswell (1968 – 2026) R.I.P.

( how we answered it — )
We reduced the skyline detail down to 3x Giza Plateau esque triangles which form an “A+A” monogram under three waves. The combined graphic elements depict —
a city of seven hills (Sheffield)
residing above the ground
or below the water
or both depending how you look at it ;)
We chose to frame the scene under a setting sun
and in doing so...
an image of, David J Boswell – often depicted in his sleeve art as a masked figure — unexpectedly emerged :)
Tragically, we lost our good friend and co-conspirator, Boz in August 2026 and (as far as we know) there will be no further releases on Atlantis Audio. We highly recommend checking out his brilliant “Going Down Slow” LP here.
